yes i called DOS and they couldny see any waybill number. June 6,2011 i recieved an email from the consulate stating that my visa was already sent late last week and iu have to check DHL.The problem is there is no waybill number. I called DOS today but i got the same answer "no waybill number".

What number are r calling?

have you tried going to the DHL office in person and have them check?? I think if you give DHL your name they can look for it right there at the branch without a waybill number.

Have you tried checking DHL with your reference number from the CSC site??

Good luck for yours!

Octopus :

Go to http://www.dhl.ca/ca/wfHomeOpen.aspx and log in your Reference ID number and select "Reference" in the "Track a shipment" section.

You can find your Reference ID number on the CSC website. Once you're logged into your account, it shows right by your passport #.

If you still can't see a waybill number, drive to your local DHL branch and ask them in person.

S and P: i tried to call DHL but they told me they couldnt check it unless i ahve the waybill number.

I would still try and go to the branch in person..... my fiance went to the branch he registered with.... just to check earlier this week..... he said they didn't ask for a waybill number, just his name... and they went and opened up this locked cabinet and searched through it.....

I don't know how different things vary from DHL branch to branch... but it couldn't hurt....

yes go to your local branch and ask for your passport. It is worth a shot. They did not ask for my waybill number when I went only ID.

Good luck!

PS if it is not at your local Branch try calling DHL in Dorval Quebec ( that is where they were holding mine for pick up although I requested a location in Ontario ) Ya never know!

I am thinking I need to breathe deeply, and most importantly stay away from the consulate site, go with my appointment date and let things happen...have faith in God that everything will be as it should be! Maybe I need to staff off of VJ for a bit too! I have been told that good things happen to those who wait. This process is driving me crazy!

Off I go to do something constructive,

Lise

Very tempting to become obsessed again and change it if possible...despite rescheduling flight fees for Jeff to get here and then our flight to Montreal. But like Lise, I need to stop, the more reading I do, the more paranoid and stressed I get. VJ is a great site for information when you need it, not when you're impatiently waiting lol. 61 more sleeps till he comes to Canada! Good luck on the rescheduling :)
