I met my fiance on a mission trip.

We were both looking :yes: and that is why we both subscribed to this international dating site. I was here with my job and he was 9 hours away (driving). Nothing special, I guess, but we could finish each other sentences even from our first date. Two years (in June) of an extremely blessed marriage.

2-7-11 - Day 0 -sent AOS package (concurrent filling)

2-11-11-Day 4 - received text message from USCIS with the receipt number

2-18-2011 - Day 11[/font]- received NOA 1 in mail for I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131

2-22-2011 -Day 15- received biometrics letter -appt March 14

3-10-2011- still cannot see case online although I called USCIS two days ago

3-14-2011- Day 35- Biometrics done on the appointment day

3-24-2011-Day 45-case showing up online!!!! USCIS mailed on 3-23 my interview appt letter- April 26 is the day!

3-26-2011-Day 48-Received interview appt letter

4-1-2011-Day 59- USCIS mailed I-131 approval and ordered production of my new card (I assume the combined EAD/AP)

4-11-2012-Day 69- received EAd&AP combo in mail! Bad picture!

4-26-2011-Day 84-APPROVED!!! Card production ordered!

I think it's so wonderful so many people have met online and found that special person.

I myself met my wife on an online game too, YEARS ago. When it had just started up it's official .com site.

2005: Met my wife online, "Habbo Hotel" instantly became friends.

2007: Lost contact with her, as we both lived thousands of miles away.

2010: Regained contact with her, again instantly became best friends.

~At this point we'd talked about visiting the others country~

October 17th 2010: Nicole (now my wife) took me to manhattan and treat me like no other.

My husband and I met on a message board about the Disney film, The Lion King, back in 2003. We started talking to each other more often on messengers in 2004, and we met in person in 2005. Ever since then we would meet up every few months, until October 2010 when he moved here on the K-1 visa and we got married. It's so wonderful not to have to go through long months of separation anymore. :wub:

we met on a dating site called cherryblossom...i messaged him first coz i found him handsome and he looks nice :whistle: then he messaged me back after a week and that we started talking over skype :blush: it's amazing how two people meet in a crazy world :dance:
