The information is there for anyone willing to seek information and evaluate whether or not the information being fed to them by the website is accurate or partisan. It seems quite a bit immature and reckless to allow others to establish what constitutes *proof* these days. Maybe that's why there are so many intolerant points of view on most bipolar issues these days. Top it off with a side of lazy, and its no surprise obesity rates in this country are where they are.

They haven't EVER. I called them out to show proof and they didn't. As usual it is just snipe and run and hide.

Trouble is, the originator of that story never posted a link to back up their assertion. So it remains hearsay.

Now, if the story was of disruption at public events, there is copious evidence that supporters across the political spectrum engage in those kinds of tactics and the evidence has been posted on VJ many times.

Now, if the story was of disruption at public events, there is copious evidence that supporters across the political spectrum engage in those kinds of tactics and the evidence has been posted on VJ many times.

When someone purposely ignores posted information such as link, that is one of the tell tale signs of a forum troll. A troll will call someone out, then when something is posted a troll will simply ignore it and continue with their agenda.

Its been quite the learning experience. Were they expecting me to have some irrational emotional outburst or something to that effect? Poor guys if they were. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to mere laziness though. Windows allows Copy & Paste of text (Highlight -> text: Bo Periello Gas Line Vandalism -> Ctrl+C -> switch window or tab to Google.com -> mouse cursor in Google.com search box -> Ctrl+V -> Enter key -> results in less than 5 seconds, all inclusive of the steps outlined here). They would spend less time just following instructions than in baiting a ridiculously immature internet fight with a forum newbie. This frames a very interesting state of questions about their emotional state of affairs, not to mention their abilities as educated adults in dealing with mature discussions in any kind of venue.

Thing is, your link is to a story about peaceable, albeit noisy local voters protesting, although never numbering more than 3 at a time, waving placards outside a residence from the sidewalk. Per your article, there was no violence at the residence of Congressman Driehaus.

The article posted by the OP is about a group of two dozen "activists from DC Vote", who "swarmed" Sunburn Boehner's residence at 7:30am and were sufficient for the police to feel the need to present a makeshift barricade to keep them away from the property.

So, no, they are not as comparable as you would like to believe.

The number of people is irrelevant. The question was whether a Democrat had a protestors at their home.

I'm sorry my grammar above is rubbish. It bothers me seeing it.

Let me rephrase.

The question wasn't about the degree of protest or the number of people. The question was related to a time when Conservatives protested at someone's house.

That is your interpretation. I'm thinking that the OP was interested in the type of protest and the implied violence, otherwise this thread would not have had the word "attack" in the title. In which case, both factors you dismiss as irrelevant to your position become distinctly relevant to theirs.
