K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

contact the embassy at 2 528 6300 or from us at 011 6325286300 extension 5184 or 5185 give them your case number, and ask it be forewarded to st. lukes hospitol for pick up. Check in a few days to make sure it arrived and then go get it from window f before your appointment so you can fill it out. If they give you a number to wait to go to window f, walk up to it anyway and simply ask for it.

Hey, my interview is scheduled march 10 and medical is suppose to be on the 3rd too. But i opted to go for the medical early to get it out of the way. Small tip: make sure you dont have your period during your medical...they'll ask you to come back...so better try doin it earlier than later so that you don't cut it too close to the interview date.

You could do that by calling (02)5286300 just as purple donkey suggest in his post.

This is what i did...we called the US Embassy Monday Feb 13 and requested that the packet be delived to St.Luke's Fri, Feb 17. I called the Embassy again thursday to confirm if they had processed the request...lady i spoke with confirmed that the packet was at st.Luke's already. I went to st.Luke's Fri to pick up the packet and have the medical done that same day.

Funny thing, after i got the medical done...Delbros arrived at my house today to delivery the original packet the Embassy sent :lol: geeeezzzzzzzz.....now i have 2 apointment letters! :hehe:

June 18, 2006 - touched

June 23, 2006 - NOA 1 for both AOS and EAD

July 25, 2006 - Biometrics schedule

Aug. 15, 2006 - NOA 2 for AOS...interview scheduled Oct.12'06 in Detroit

Sep. 5, 2006 - EAD APPROVED!!!!! .... waiting for them to mail the card

Sep. 12, 2006 - EAD card arrives....wooooooooooooooohooooooooooo

Oct. 12, 2006 - AOS interview......Successful!!! whew

Oct. 19, 2006 - Approval notice arrives in the mail (WELCOME TO AMERICA!!)

Oct. 23, 2006 - Green Card arrives!!!!

...........finally....some peace and quiet for 2 years.......

I hope the visa arrives before I get there. I will be there for two weeks so a total of 1 month will have passed since her interveiw by the time we leave. I would think that the visa would arrive by then but her packet never arrived so you never know. The only thing we have left to do before we leave is to take her daughter to the CFO for the semiar and get the final stampings. We plan to stay in Manila a couple days to take care of this before our flight leaves on March 12st.

It's been a year and a half since I have been with my sweety. Im very happy the wait is finally over!

Thanks to all that have answered my question over the past 11 months. Thanks all!! Im wishing everybody good luck in there interviews.

My Parent's Timeline

2011-03-14: Mailed application to USCIS

2011-03-16: Application was recieved NOA1 to follow in the mail.

2011-03-21: Received text stating application recieved 03/16/2011.

2011-03-28: Received NOA1 for both petition in the mail.

2011-06-20: Received NOA2 for both petition in the mail. (APPROVED!!)

--- NVC ---

2011-07-21: Haven't heard anything from NVC. Called them and was informed that the Approved Petition was received 2011-06-18. What's taking them so long?!?!?!

2011-07-22: Back on track! Called the 24 hr hotline and got the NVC Number (^__^)

2011-07-23: My parents e-mailed NVC and filed DS-3032 electronically.

2011-07-25: I received an e-mail stating that I am the Choice of Agent for my Parents.

2011-07-25: Called NVC and I got their Invoice Identification Number!!!

2011-07-26: Made online payment for AOS Bill.

2011-07-27: Made online payment for IV Bill.

2011-07-29: AOS payment posted PAID

2011-09-27: Sent AOS, DS-230 & supporting documents to NVC.

2011-10-19: CASE COMPLETE

2011-11-17: Medical Complete

2011-12-08: INTERVIEW!!! - MOM got approved. DAD on AP!!!

2011-12-16: DAD was issued a visa

196 Days @ USCIS ( 178 for NOA2 + 18 case transfer at NVC)

50 Days @ NVC to complete the case
