Wow only one other person with a storage room. So I do have a room (walkin closet) full of supplies. I have 10 Gal of water, One week of MREs (I think it can last two weeks if rationed) and other things like glow sticks, batteries, radio etc. I live roughly a mile from the Hayward Faultline hence the supplies.

If you eat nothing but MRE's for a week, you might want to include a couple jars of psyllium husk. Otherwise, you may suffer severe constipation, or worse.

Well here in the UK i wouldnt be prepped for any of those unless ment living on a rooftop of a bungalow.

My fiance isn't prepped either he's always saying I ain't hiding in my basement at every warning we have in the area :blink:

He talking of having a gun closet, so logical step would be do the food and water thing too maybe I can persuade him when next there :lol:

~We started chatting online through a chat room in October 2007~

~We decided to have an online a relationship till we felt comfortable enough to meet in January 2008~

~Yay we finally met at chicago airport February 2010~

~Randy asked me to marry him March 2010 (informally with the promise of saving for a ring for my next trip)~

~Stayed with Randy for 3 month Vacation till April 2010 {it was great and I didn't want to come home =0( ~

~October 2010 Went to see randy for a second time for 3 months wohoo (was so sad to leave but it was a great 3 months)~

~25th October 2010 Randy asked me to marry him formally with a twin set ring the day I got there (was the happiest moment of my life)~

~To date saving for a 3rd trip,wedding and birth cert and hopfully applying for a CR-1 visa instead of a K-1 visa as origionally planned~

In a lot of natural disasters, the house would probably be destroyed or have to be abandoned. Could only take what would go in the car. I don't think 6 months of groceries are going to fit in my Mazda Protege.
