In the P4 my fiance' received today, the HCMC Consulate sent 2 links (please see below), both of which don't work:

The link I found (which the header references January 2011) is as follows: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/hochiminh/174995/iv-forms/K-Appointment-122020-2.pdf. I think this is the proper one, but how can we know? It seems the Consulate screwed up.

The links lack the final file name.

When in doubt always go to the Embassy or consulate website.

Thanks, but they sent 2 links and not 1. Not sure if that was a mistake either. I assume the only link is the K-1 link. Thoughts?

Both links above go to the same directory, both look to have been meant to point at the same file, just got truncated at slightly different spots within the file name, breaking the link.

For the K-1, does only the I-184 need to be completed? My fiance asked if the I-864 needs to be completed but I don't think it does.

No, K-1 visa uses an I-134 not I-864.

I-864 is for green-cards, and will later be used when adjusting status in the USA.

The letter the Consulate sent out is generic for both immigrant visa and K-1.

Use the second link for K-1. The immigrant visa link will ask you for the I-864.

You will need the I-134 for K-1 at the Consulate stage.
