Wow. That is strange. But I think it is just the advanced Active Course that is not free. Look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Livemocha

Have someone help you register for the free courses. I help a lot of people on here, and I am pretty sure that none of them are paying

for my help.

I see that the first button is for Active English. Don't push that one. Try the beginning English...

Ahhhh. You are right! Sorry! It must just be people who are learning another language who are free...or they changed their policy. You might try to see if you can take an ESL class in your town,

either through a community college or a high school adult education course. What city do you live in? I can see what is available for you.

Contact the library system where you live. They may offer English language programs or at least be able to help you find good resources. That's what libraries do here. Get a library card and use it often. My husband loves his :)
