What is this troll, 12 years old?

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

AndyMisiu - Glad to see you back even just for a cameo shot! Nice post. I wish the process was somewhat normalized between VSC and CSC being they are government agencies processing the same type of petitions (meaning K1). I believe that is what possibly get's under people's skin along with a few other choice problems at CSC. Yes, the recalls of folks already approved was the most callus act that I have seen in a long time from a government agency initiating a process and made absolutely no sense, in my opinion. It's hard for me and I'm presuming many others to separate their emotions from this community that we have trusted ourselves into. It's like a fellowship... and I fell like I have a bond of friendship with a few of the good folks here on VJ. Well that's enough for now... Cheers!!!

yea! true that!

In my fellowship we realize that everything happens for a reason, and it's not always what we want.

I really do wish everyone the best

Oh man guys we have a professional troll. He was quoting "The Ultimate Flame"- it just seemed way too ubsurd to be self-written, so I googled a couple sentences and this flame is all over the internet, it's like a running flame that people offer additions to. How sad it is when there are some who just want to go around stirring up so much trouble. HOWEVER, I did find his post so over the top, it was bordering on hilarity. And hey, it only shows the true nature of the troll if he has to cut-and-paste an insult!

I tried to respond to this post earlier and just could never quite finish... I feel very happy for everyone who get's their approval, after a short wait or especially after a long wait. All should be celebrated.

I suppose I can understand those who have waited an unreasonable amount of time, in the dark as to progress on their petition, being injured by the posting of rapid approvals (generally from VSC) while they continue to wait on CSC.

More than merely understanding, and despite my mere 22 days and counting since NOA1, I fear our case could well become just such a horror story. Like the veterans still waiting after grotesque amounts of time, I can say 'they got approved and they filed after me!' So how can I not worry?

Make no mistake, I will continue to hope for approval every day until it comes. And I will continue to look forward to living the rest of my life together with the woman I love dearly no matter how long it takes. CSC won't break me, or shake me from achieving our goal of being together!

I appreciate the wisdom and good nature of those on here who are currently living the nightmare yet manage to be so helpful and cheerful. And when they break down a bit and rant, more power to them...

But I think it is appropriate to celebrate everyone who wrestles approval from the quixotic USCIS system.

Right now I'm learning about stressors and the effects they can have on the body. We've learned about G.A.S. (General Adaptation Stress) and how if it builds up, it can lead up to physiological distress. To this end, I thought I'd do some venting so I don't start getting headaches and ####### like that.

Now, I realize that I'm just under two months wait time since my NOA1, but I just have to vent a little. While I'm happy that some people continue to get their petition approvals from the VSC under 30 days, do we need a frickin' thread about it? Seriously, have some respect for those that have been waiting for five months and still have nothing. You've waited less than 30 days and you act like it's an achievement. It's not that I'm trying to belittle your happiness, but think about how the other side may feel for a second before you post your "OMGzOrz, IT'S A MIRACLE, APPROVED IN UNDER 30 DAYS...I NEVER THOUGHT THIS WOULD COME!!!2111" threads.

ALSO, DID I PAY 170 PESOS WHEN I SENT IN MY PAYMENT? That's what it feels like. We ALL pay the same amount but VSC actually affords their petitioners with answers and actual results. Didn't we all pay the same amount? Someone mentioned discrimination and that's what this is...it's a case of geographical discrimination. It's sh1tty, that's what it is.

Again, please apologize for my comments...I just felt like I needed to vent. I really do feel a little bit better now.

Well well, I'm not alone. I found this thread AFTER I posted my response in another thread.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...st&p=412796

I completely agree with MRC.

I also feel better after my venting in that other thread. It needs to be brought up, over and over.

The benefactors of VSC is benefitting at the cost of CSC filers. Had they moved TSC and NSC petitions to VSC, CSC would be approving faster and VSC would be slowing down, but of course they moved TSC/NSC to CSC so we are where we stand. Patented discrimination!

I totally understand your frustration. But I also understand Vermont filers' reason to celebrate - I can't wait for my NOA2 email.

CSC and VSC are so far apart, our journeys are so different, I would suggest to Captain Ewok that the K1 forum be split between the lucky bastards and the CSC-screwed!!

I have no bad feelings towards the VSC filers with approvals within 30 days - I just wish we all got a similar treatment. I agree with another poster about different states having different values, different taxes, etc but Immigration is Federal and we all paid our $170 for this service.

I think NOT posting an approval or a milestone or celebration just to appease those are irritated is stupid. Sorry. This is a public support forum and if you don't like to read about other ppl getting through the system then don't come here...I mean i'm really not trying to be harsh or anything...

Did you expect this process to be a piece of cake? A Quick breeze through process for everyone?? Is it fair?? no...is it just the way the process is?? yes.

To think that someone saying "Hey I got approved fast" Is GLOATING is insane...

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

Ironic isn't it.

Some individuals don't even know they're gloating while gloating.
