I'm on my 7th month mark and I have no problem with people posting their own threads about their approvals.

I am happy to see someone get approved... so they can continue their lives. I dont have the misery loves company mentality.

I am not frustrated at the people, I am frustrated at USCIS.

I agree, I waited 6 months for mine, but I don't feel as if someone else should not be happy and should not post their happiness just because I had to wait. That is ridiculous. We are all on this board for the same reason, some wait longer than others that is the name of the game, there is nothing we can do about it. When someone gets approved, no mattter how long they have waited, I am sure they are ecstatic, and want to share that with everyone, just like you or I would. Why should they have to consider our feelings when expressing their happiness. People seem to really have their feelings on their shoulders lately, I understand the long waits, I went through it too, but we can't take that out on everyone on this forum.

At least the trolls subject line was entertaining... bothersome... insensitive... obnoxious... but hilariously ridiculous. It was so over the top that I had to laugh. Even the VJ ID was funny and very suspect.

mrc - Please ignore it... That's what it wants... to fuel the flames with hate and chaos... we're all dealing with enough... It will soon wither away in the darkness of solitude... You have more class than it does...

No, in fact I read up on the posts and knew that the CSC was terrible, so even though I was supposed to file with them, I said screw that and demanded that the VSC handle my case...after all...I'm a USC and deserve better treatment than this! I just gave them my phone number to call in case there was any problems with either that or not being "completely" divorced yet...the director called me yesterday and it's all good..I am a USC after all!

HAHAHA! All that and not one period. After all...you are a...moron.

MRC,

You swine. You vulgar little maggot. You worthless bag of filth.

You are a canker. A sore that won't go away. You're a putrescent mass, a walking vomit. You are a spineless little worm deserving nothing but the profoundest contempt. You are a jerk, a cad, a weasel, a whining little ####### (oh boo hoo look at me...I can't stand to wait sooo long). Your life is a monument to stupidity. You are a stench, a revulsion, a big suck on a sour lemon.

You are a bleating foal, a curdled staggering mutant dwarf smeared richly with the effluvia and offal accompanying your alleged birth into this world. An insensate, blinking calf, meaningful to nobody, abandoned by the puke-drooling, giggling beast who sired you and then killed himself in recognition of what he had done. Your daddy was a #######, your mamma was a #######, and you wouldn't be here if the rubber hadn't tore. I will never get over the embarrassment of belonging to the same species as you. You are a monster, an ogre, a malformity. I barf at the very thought of you.

You have all the appeal of a booger. Lepers avoid you. You are vile, worthless, less than nothing. You are a weed, a fungus, the dregs of this earth. And did I mention you smell?

You snail-skulled little rabbit. Would that a hawk pick you up, drive its beak into your brain, and upon finding it rancid set you loose to fly briefly before spattering the ocean rocks with the frothy pink shame of your ignoble blood.

May you choke on the queasy, convulsing nausea of your own trite, foolish beliefs. You are weary, stale, flat and unprofitable. You are grimy, squalid, nasty and profane. You are foul and disgusting. You're a fool, an ignoramus. Monkeys look down on you. Sheep won't have sex with you--only trash such as yourself.

You are unreservedly pathetic, starved for attention, and lost in a land that reality forgot.

BTW...I did your fiance! :diablo:

Ciao

BTW...I did your fiance! :diablo: Sounds like fighting words to me.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

WOW. The topic is still going on. It is a good forum and people get a chance to take their frustration out. But I piss off at the thing when the complete process is done is 90 days from NOA1 to VISA. That is fukin more painful.

Well, I thought I would add my two cents (in and then out, stealth mode)

I feel that we all know each case is different. Some cases are approved at a faster rate for whatever reason. It's just the way it is. We all know that VSC is faster at approving petitions. I think that's a fact we all walk into when first filing. Different service centers have different processing times. It is what it is. You can't compare yourself to something you know is different. VSC should compare to VSC and CSC to CSC, and so on.

If it's usual for VSC to process petitions is less than 3 months and you have a VSC petition thats outside of that norm., I think you should be able to post on here, #######!! without someone questioning it. The reason being, you are comparing yourself to what you are seeing from others in your same situation. Maybe you are looking for responses from others in your same situation.

If you are a dog you compare yourself to other dogs, you don't ask why you can't fly, your not a bird.

Different states have different taxes, different schooling, different gas prices, etc... It is what it is. I know that I might move to PA because the housing is less expensive then MD.

Maybe there should be separate forums for each service center, or maybe we should just keep in mind that we are different and shouldn't be compared.

I think that everyone has the right to post whatever they want. I personally do not invest emotions into what happens on this site. I simply use it for what it is, a TOOL. Not my life. I can't control what's happening to my petition or anyone elses. All I can do is align my emotions with my fiancee's and understand that this is an unpredictable, changing, and Potentially a LONG wait. We both need to understand that. And if your just entering this process with your fiancee, you need to understand that as well.

I think it's unfair that the process changed the way it did in the middle of so many's petitions. It's horrible to think about the approvals that were handed out only to be recalled due to a change in law, it's a horrible thought. I would have been crushed if this happened to me. The people waiting for months and months had no idea they would be waiting this long, it just changed with little or no warning. Let this be a lesson to everyone, that this is an ever-changing process with no stability, and unfortunately.... It is what it is.

I'm sure this post will raise some eyebrows but it's been 7 day's since my last post. Just thought I would get a little involved.

Good luck to everyone!!!

I will admit I am one of those who reads more than anything and I do this with many forums both personal and with work. As things progressed with my relationship, I found this site and was grateful for the wisdom, the assistance given to people and the support of everyone.

As you can see by my timeline and signature I sent my application to Nebraska, thankful it was going to one of the centers that appeared to be quicker. However this also was the time IMBRA was coming into play and the transfers to CSC. Again I learned much by reading the different posts on VJ.

I felt so many different emotions for myself and others as we waited and waited for the USCIS to implement the new paperwork with IMBRA. When Vermont starting issuing approvals I was excited for everyone, thinking things are starting to move and California will start soon too.

I was even more estatic when I saw RFE's had been sent to members going through CSC. I figured I would be getting mine relatively soon and the wait would begin again. I knew it would take some time because of all the members who had NOA1s months before me. However when I saw the randomness of approvals and generally those who had applied around the same time as me or after me get approved, I was happy for them, but I felt very heart-broken for the March and April filers.

I have seen that practically everyone here is excited when someone receives their NOA2 - just like I am. I do completely understand the frustration level the March and April filers are feeling. As we all have said time and time again, their applications should have been processed first, but we had no control over that.

With all of this craziness, when I received my NOA2, I was overjoyed and shared my happiness with my fiance. I do not want to say I felt guilty because it came before many others, but I just did not feel "right" posting my joy when the others have still been waiting - but this is me. I did PM Uling so I could be added to his list because keeping this updated was important for everyone.

For those who want to "announce this to the world" please do so, but try and remember those that have been waiting for much longer.

Hopefully relatively soon things will be "back to normal" with all of the March and April filers being approved. Maybe then we can all "celebrate" again with each other when someone is approved. We all know this process is not easy. And even when it is "normal" some applications process quickly while other seem to take forever. Just remember we are all here to support each other be it in letting off steam, asking for advice and support or celebrating approvals.

VJ has been a wonderful site. I do not know what I would have done without it. Nothing else compares. Thanks for everything!

Lori

Brilliant post!! A very good read!!! Someone that actually reads, with the intent of comprehension. In other words, understand before speaking. Well done!!!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

AndyMisiu - Glad to see you back even just for a cameo shot! Nice post. I wish the process was somewhat normalized between VSC and CSC being they are government agencies processing the same type of petitions (meaning K1). I believe that is what possibly get's under people's skin along with a few other choice problems at CSC. Yes, the recalls of folks already approved was the most callus act that I have seen in a long time from a government agency initiating a process and made absolutely no sense, in my opinion. It's hard for me and I'm presuming many others to separate their emotions from this community that we have trusted ourselves into. It's like a fellowship... and I fell like I have a bond of friendship with a few of the good folks here on VJ. Well that's enough for now... Cheers!!!
