Just wandering i think I read somewhere that the passport pics (3 of them) have to be within the last 6 months. I wanted to use the pics I took when we filed the original petition but it is now past the 6 months and I dont think i will have an interview date till october. Has anyone else used the same pics? Do they ask when it was taken? I guess they may be able to tell if they have the original petition wont they? I just hate my pic taken and I look good in those pics lol and wanted to use them ... any suggestions, comments anyone? Is there a place to take passport pics near the embassy, just incase i take the original pics and they dont accept them i could go and get new ones done and hand them in.

There is a chemist near the US embassy in London that does US style passport photos. I don't recall what the address is, but its only 5 mins walk from the embassy.

EDIT: Here it is:

Gould Pharmacy

37 North Audley Street

London W1K 6ZL

020 7495 6298

www.gouldpharmacy.com

Or a PDF with addresses of places that do the photographs. The pharmacy is the cheapest IIRC.

As long as it is obvious that it is you, I do not see how they can tell how long ago they were taken. I have changed my hair about 3 times in the past year  so my photo for the embassy and the medical is different from the ones that went with our first form. Hopefully they will be OK

Don't worry about the date. Just present what you've got. If they don't like 'em, they'll ask you to bring new ones from somewhere near the embassy.
