My Fiancee is going to BPI bank to pay for her K-1 Visa Application fee.

Here is what the instuctions say:

"Any nonimmigrant visa applicant can pay their visa application fee in cash at any Bank of the Philippine Islands branch. You must bring your passport or a copy of your passport's bio page to the bank when you pay the visa fee. At the bank, you must write your passport number, fee payment amount and your telephone number in the U. S. visa fee collection slip available at the bank. After receiving your payment, the bank will give you a receipt"

It says "and your telephone number in the U. S." So, she writes down my US telephone number on the fee collection slip?

I know this is self explanitory, but just making sure, want to make sure we get this right

Here is what I found:

Cash at Bank: Any nonimmigrant visa applicant can pay their fee in cash at the nearest branch of Bank of Philippine Island (BPI). You are required to bring a copy of your passport bio page for the MRV fee payment. An applicant is required to fill in passport number, amount, full name (as appearing in the passport) and contact number in the deposit slip available at the bank branch. Upon payment of the MRV application fee, the bank will issue you a copy of receipt.

Please note that you must wait for 4 hours from the time of payment of your MRV application fee before you can use it to schedule your interview appointment.(For more details please refer the table given below*) Whether you schedule your appointment online or call our call center, you will have to provide your passport number and receipt purchase date** before you will be allowed to schedule your visa interview appointment.

i paid my visa fee to bpi. they only asked for my passport and what visa am i paying for...they dont even asked for my fiance number in the us. after they check my passport, i handed them my visa fee (15,400) and there hand me back a reciept confirming i paid the said amount...i guess bpi has its different instructions ..anyway. what is important is that you paid for the visa fee..just keep your reciept, you will need that when you schedule for interview.

You need the deposit slip that is printed from online. (no the NOA2 is not needed... save it for AOS later)

Details and additional links to this in my link below, follow the flashing arrow, then click the link.

Once You received the NOA2 just call the NVC to get the MCN and when you have it you can get the MRV at BPI's website, print it and present it to BPI with your passport, they'll be asking for the passport number, date it was issued and the expiration. After 4 hours you can start setting interview appointment and medical at SLEC and filling out DS160. NO need to wait for them to send the physical file to USEM.

Once (it can take a week or two for USCIS to get the case file to NVC) You received the NOA2 just call the NVC to get the MCN and when you have it you can get the MRV at BPI's website (ustraveldocs), print it and present it to BPI with your passport, they'll be asking for the passport number, date it was issued and the expiration. After 4 hours (only in your dreams, 12-24 hours is more of the norm) you can start setting interview appointment and medical at SLEC and filling out DS160. NO need to wait for them to send the physical file to USEM.
