Just a little hint to those from Denmark(but not limited to). I'm gathering documents/info for the(hopefully soon) interview. I thought I'd go ahead and mail the pastor of my church/community asking a couple of questions about the birth certificate and she offered to translate and sign it. Then I e-mailed the local police department and asked them regarding the police report and they are also going to provide me with a full translation and the original.

Since It's just a matter of walking in there and asking them politely(equipped with ID ofcourse) I thought I'd pass it on to future vj'ers.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days
