sorry for the bluntness, stina ... but you always seem to have some sort of ailment or another. no one here is going to be able to tell you what your pain is from ... only you know your body best.

Yeah, I know. I have terrible paranoia when it comes to my health. I was just wondering if there was anything I can do to ease it or something because my doc appointment isnt going to be today.

Anyway, thanks everyone.

Sounds like you're under a lot of stress so that is probably the root cause. But, if you do continue to get gas, try organic apple cider vinegar. 2 tsp in a glass of water. Believe it or not, when you have gas problems, more acid will help your stomach calm down. It helps rebalance your Ph levels in a more natural way than over the counter medicines. Taking these long term will really screw up your intestines. Long term problems, of course as you know, check with your doc.

Craig had the same thing for about 3 days, Stina. He was trying to start the mower for Corey and got this pain where you described..lasted 2/3 days and then just was gone when he got up this morning. Glad you're feeling better, and chances are it will perm. take care of itself. (F) M.

I am having really bad pains under my ribcage today. It's neither left nor right but smack dab in the middle... is it just gas or something else? If anyone knows please help cause its kinda freaking me out.

Glad to know you're feeling better now. Like others have said, the stress of this process is enough to cause all kinds of things. Hope you continue to feel better!

Wow. People dabbling in Immigration law put their thoughts here. Sometimes erroneous. Now we will have domestic doctors as well. Heh... Stina You need to go to doctor for reality check.

Did somebody whizz in your Cheerios today? You sure are a snotty little thing aren't you?

Really? I'll have to try that. I have gastritis and recently went to the doc when the zantac I take everyday wasn't helping. I've cut out any caffeine and I'm cautious with spicy food for now until my stomach calms down. I also take a pro-biotic supplement.

I had that sort of pain for most of my pregnancies... and have had it on and off since. Mine feels like you want to try to stretch it out, like a muscle cramp or something. Doc told me once that I pulled a ligament in my rib cage (stress of baby's weight during pregnancy, or something like that) and it still gets aggravated once and a while.

If pepto helped, then it's gastro-intestinal related... could be stress or something else.

And no, am not a nurse. But my mother and my best friend are... osmosis. :P

Do have it checked out if it becomes chronic.
