I sent my I-129F to the CSC in December 2010. I know with a 100% certainty that I will get an RFE. I would like to know if it is possible to send documents/evidence to that center and expect it to reach its' way into the bottom of that extremely large stack of petitions that are ahead of me. Is this a lost cause or should I go for it?

By the time (probably late June) they get around to my petition I will have much more relationship evidence. Will they expect more relationship evidence or will I be treated the same as others who are not getting an RFE? Loaded questions, but someone must have had or seen this happen at some time. Thanks for any HELP!!!

What makes you think you will get an RFE?

No Letters of intent. No photos. No hotel receipts, No explanation of meeting on separate sheet, No phone records, no emails, no letters. I have at least 75 pages of evidence/documents to send now

They will not be able to match it up with your application up with the added info. Just wait until you get an RFE.

I would make a copy and go ahead and send it. One member here (KiwiBird) received her NOA2 a couple weeks ago after doing the same thing. She initially sent only the I-129F and nothing else. Later she realized her mistake and sent the rest of the documents and evidence to accompany the form. She was approved with no RFE. It can't hurt, really. Other than a few bucks for copies and postage. I say go for it but plan on receiving an RFE later and have copies ready to send them when that time comes.

I can see how this mistake can be made. With the standard government forms we all encounter (mostly IRS), the instructions explain each line. So, if we look at each line and it makes sense, we don't even think we need the instructions... and little do we know that in this case the form instructions have little to do with the form and more to do with what to do in addition to the form.

A simple checklist page that prints out with the form would probably cut down on problems a lot... and save the government some time & resources.

I'm with the camp that says it never hurts to send it, but the chances of it working aren't great.

Good question... we did the same thing, sent just the bare minimum. I've come to the conclusion that it can't hurt to send copies of everything, if it gets lost it does but if it makes it to the file then we just might (fingers crossed, prayers said, wood touched) not get an RFE.

Good luck and keep us posted on what happens. :luv:

When it comes to an RFE, one blessing in disguise is that you can use the opportunity to send more evidence that you have accumulated since sending in the petition, which will help your case in the interview stage.

An RFE seems to add a setback of 2 -4 weeks, so its not a really major issue provided that you can address it adequately.

I just hope that I don't get a flat out DENIED. That would require some serious binge drinking!!!

That is unlikely and only seems to happen very occasionally in your situation.

Anything that you send in hope of being added to your case file ought to have the case file indicated on the cover letter and each page of items sent.

Without a case number it makes the job of matching the submission with your file much more difficult.

This isn't always true. There are some members on here (KiwiBird, off the top of my head) that didn't send any of the required proof and ended up sending in a copy of her NOA1 as well as her evidence and it got matched up with her petition and she now has her NOA2.

My suggestion is that there is no harm in trying. Make copies of absolutely everything, send it in, and hope for the best. If it doesn't get matched up, then all you're out is the cost of sending it.

I forgot my letters of intense, called USCIS and they told me to just go ahead and send it to them. Hopefully they received it and I won't be getting an RFE. Definitely worth a try!

I think I will go ahead and send the other evidence/documents in. What the H#$%!! Is the correct address the one on the bottom of the NOA-1?

Thanks everybody!!!
