Coming From Malaysia

My fiance is currently living and going to school in Malaysia, but originally from Nigeria. We met online a year ago and I flew to Malaysia to meet him in person, and later we got engaged. I filed Fiance Visa on November 23,2010. Our petition was filed in Texas, however was sent to California and we have not heard anything as of yet. I know this is a process and going to take time. However, I am worried about him being from one Country but living in another. Does anyone have a clue as to whether this would pose a problem or concern? Also he is younger than me, would that be a problem?

Do not worry about him living in another country as long as he stays there when your petition is approved will not create any problem at all. If your petition was sent to California you should hear from them between April or May. Our application was forwarded also to California and we have to wait till June or July of this year, hopefully maybe less. Be patient and wait till then just keep yourself busy. Age difference does not matter as long as you both are in love and care for each other.
