okay we got our noa2 for the k1 fiance visa a couple of weeks ago...the 1st of feb...today is the 14th and they have only just got it,but its not been updated in their system?

how much longer does that normally take?

and then on average any idea how long from them getting the pack to it being forwarded to the embasy? ours is london

Ok on average about a month, call the dept of state to see if they see if it went to London, those ladies know the drill, everyone phones them. #2 go on the london embassy site and download package 2 and GET BUSY and fill it out and send it to whomever in England and get their stuff going on their end on the crimional background stuff. Then they mail it when they get the embassy invite to send stuff. Have fun folks!

It shouldn't be with NVC much more than a week, going on recent London members timelines, and then about another week to get to the consulate.

Just keep calling DOS to check the status of things.

We got our NOA2 3rd Feb and NVC only just got our info yesterday, haven't even logged it in their system yet. So seems to be taking longer than average, but what else is new!

Received NOA 2 on February 1st. I called NVC today to get our case number and was told they received the petition on February 7th and the petition is still there. The rep did not know how long it will be there before sending to Kiev. They were closed several days due to bad weather so I am sure they are behind because of the snow.

Your file arrived to NVC already to obtain IIN and ID number and NVC case number call to get these numbers

Once you have it they will assign you a NVC number it looks like this KEV2011XXXXXX number and

your process will start.

Good LUCK you should be done and out of NVC by end or March and on your way to Kyiv for inteterview

by May or June.

I received an email notification of our approved NOA2 on the 08Feb2011 and then on the 14Feb2011 I received the hardcopy. I called the NVC, the London, UK Consulate and the DOS and they all say that the NVC still has not received our NOA2. Should we be concerned? Oh and sorry for hijacking your topic, but I figured this would be the best place to post this as others might be in a similar situation.

we got our noa2 after about 2 weeks. well 2 weeks exactly,so if you only got approved on the 8th id not be to worried right now,we were told the weather was making things a little slower

got out NOA2 on Feb 3rd and they JUST received our case at the NVC on the 14th, seems to be a little slower so I wouldn't worry!

You have to call NVC and listen to the AVRS...when a case number is assigned then they have received it.

Call the NVC at 603-334-0700, press 1, then press 0. Have your case # on hand because they will need it. They will be able to tell you if it has been received!

Yes it seems a little slower right now than past timelines i've been looking at.

I got my NOA2 on Feb 16th and as of today the NVC doesnt have my case.

I was told to call back the first week of March

USCIS approved our I-130 on February 18, 2011. I have been calling NVC everyday and today (February 28, 2011) they FINALLY received it, but told me it may take up to 6 weeks to recieve our NVC number??? Is that correct? It seems as if other people are getting their number & packet a lot sooner. Is there anything I can do to expedite this process? I just want to be with my husband
