Well, we kinda got one today. I got the hard copy of the NOA2 in the mail today, but knew of the approval on Feb. 4th. :)

K1 Process
07/13/10: Mailed off I-129F to Vermont
07/23/10: NOA1
08/01/10: Alex went to England for 3 months
12/15/10: Alan arrived in America for 5 weeks
02/04/11: NOA2
02/19/11: Paperwork in London!
02/25/11: Packet 3 received
03/25/11: Police certificate complete
04/13/11: Medical in London
07/15/11: Alex finally got a job...forward ahead!
07/18/11: Paid for interview...waiting...
08/04/11: Called the consulate, told to wait 7 weeks
09/07/11: Called again, told not all paperwork is not in
09/08/11: Emailed consulate with details on tracking numbers for lost paperwork.
09/09/11: Contacted Senator's office for help, sent all paperwork through his office
09/13/11: Amazing...we have an appt! What a fiasco...
09/15/11: Alan realized he does not in fact have military D/C paperwork
09/16/11: Consulate contacted Alan and told him they do not have paperwork still!
09/21/11: Interview 9:00am-APPROVED!
09/27/11: Passport with Visa received
10/08/11: Alas! Together again!
11/11/11: Wedding

AOS Process
11/16/11: AOS packet mailed to Chicago lockbox
11/26/11: Honeymoon!
12/08/11: NOA1 for Permanent Residence & Employment Authorization
12/09/11: Biometrics appointment notice
01/03/12: Biometrics appointment
01/25/12: NOA: Case being transferred to CA for faster processing
02/02/12: Employment Authorization Approved
06/27/12: RFE, two "yes" questions needed elaboration
07/27/12: Welcome notice received! Greencard in hand

ROC Process

4/12/14: ROC packet mailed

11/25/14: RFE received

In case anybody is interested, I received is a report on another forum by a Vermont filer who called and was told they are working on August 21, 2010.

This is the first report I read with that date. Everyone who reported from here was told July 24.

ROC Timeline

4-26-13------Eligible to file for ROC

6-17-13------Sent off I-751 Package

6-19-13------VSC Received our package. Signed for by K. Fitzgerald

6-24-13------Received NOA in the mail, dated 6-20-13

6-24-13------Check Cashed

7-05-13------Received Biometrics Appointment letter in the mail for 7-18-13

7-18-13------Biometrics done

8-20-13------Case Transferred to CSC for further processing

8-24-13------Transfer notice arrived in the mail today

10-21-13----ROC Approved!

10-25-13----Received approval letter in the mail

10-28-13----Production of 10 Yr Green Card ordered

11-01-13----Card has been mailed!....Received USPS tracking number

11-04-13----10yr Green Card arrived in the mail today....Yay!!

Will that be the norm now? The phone boys are not exactly known for consistent information.

If it is the new norm, it is an improvement in that the last monthly update only brought us forward by two weeks, July 10 to July 24.

I am interested!! Good news for us as this date is now past our NOA1 date of August 5, 2010!! Although I was already able to put in one service request a week ago after much begging and pleading ....but now they have even less to stand on! Certainly happy for everyone else, but just kind of wondering when i am going to see our name on the good list. :unsure:

Wouldn't it be awesome to get approval on Valentines day?? I'm just sayin' .... (L):wub:(L)

I was hoping for my fiance's interview date to be scheduled, but I called the visa specialist and no such luck. Still waiting for him to get his packet and for an interview date...

August 23, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

August 30, 2010 - Per Department of Homeland Security (DHS) e-mail, petition received and routed to California Service Center for processing. Check cashed. I-797C Notice of Action by mail (NOA 1) - Received date 08/25/2010. Notice date 08/27/2010.

After 150 days of imposed anxious patience...

January 24, 2011 - Per USCIS website, petition approved and notice mailed.

January 31, 2011 - Approval receipt notice (NOA 2) received by mail. Called NVC, given Santo Domingo case number, and informed that petition was sent same day to consulate.

Called Visa Specialist at the Department of State every day for a case update. Informed of interview date on February, 16 2011. Informed that packet was mailed to fiance on February, 15 2011.

February 21, 2011 - Fiance has not yet received packet. Called 1-877-804-5402 (Visa Information Center of the United States Embassy) to request a duplicate packet in person pick-up at the US consulate in Santo Domingo. Packet can be picked-up by fiance on 02/28.

March 1, 2011 - Medical exam completed at Consultorios de Visa in Santo Domingo.

March 9, 2011 at 6 AM - Interview, approved!

March 18, 2011 - POE together. JFK and O'Hare airports. Legal wedding: May 16, 2011.

Al, that is what I have heard to. They only update that date once a month to the people who answer the phones and they will say the August 21, 2010 until middle of March and then update at that time. I hope they will be working over time so Vermont center can get caught up. Good luck everybody and congrats to all the other people who got their noa2's.

11-08-2011 Date on text messages but did not receive until 11-22-2011

11-23-2011 Check cashed.

11-25-2011 Hard copies of NOA1s

12-06-2012 Pui's Brother unexpectly passes away and we make an info pass appointment and receive an emergancy AP so she can return home. Pui leaves for Thailand for 2 weeks.

12-06-2012 Get a text message and email that she received an RFE

12-12-2012 RFE for original birth certificate. I swear we sent it along with a certificate translation of it.

12-20-2012 Pui returns from Thailand.

12-21-2012 We send the RFE back for with original birth certificate along with a new certificate of translation(I had to wait for her to return for her to sign)

12-26-2012 text and email they have received the RFE.

12-29-2012 Appointment for biometrics is 01-23-2012

01-13-2012 AP is approved.

01-23-2012 Biometrics appointment. Later during the evening the text and email saying the EAD is approved.

01-31-2012 EAD/AP combo card arrives.

05-22-2012 Email and text card is in production!
