When do I submit DS-230?

Hi all, I am unclear on whether I have the green light to submit AOS form and DS-230 application. I have paid the fees on-line and they have a status of "PAID". It instructs me to attach the bar coded coversheet to the application. Will I receive written mailed correspondence telling me to submit the application with instructions on what documents I am to include? Will I also receive similar correspondence advising me to submit AOS form?

thanks

you could wait for instructions, but be prepared to wait 3 months.

USUALLY - if you have the PRINTED COVERSHEETS from the online payment portal, yer golden - is TIMETICK to 'send all in'.

If you need to review 'stuff' - please do so - see

DS-230 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3190.html

I-864 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3730.html

General NVC stuff - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1335.html

and then strongly suggest you send all in to the address in the IV coversheet, with all in the same packet - will save about 3 weeks of time.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Are you saying send the AOS in the same envelope as the DS-230 and send to the address on the bar coded application coversheet?

You may wish to call NVC to clarify if you can send both in the same envelope (but with their own cover sheets!). Generally they are sent in different parcels because of the timing involved with coversheet generating. Best of luck!!!

YES ! use the address in the IV coversheet.

When done this way, shaves off 2 to 3 weeks of silliness.
