Ports of entry

Hello. I am new to this game, so if this is a stupid question, please forgive me. My intended (we have not yet met, but we are planning toward a future together, and I have an upcoming trip to meet her) is under the impression that all who arrive on a K1 visa have to enter through the port of entry in Michigan. I am new to this, but I cannot find any info on this at all as to which POE we would have to use, who determines that, etc. I live in Hawaii, so clearly Michigan is out of the way. Any help would be appreciated. Mahalo.

Any POE you want to use, you can use.

There is no specified POE, any airport, ship port, and land crossing taking international traffic is a POE, and you can use any one of them.

She can enter in hawaii...although to go to hawaii she will have to probably go to Guam first...so that would be the POE and hawaii would be customs. That is the route my wife to coming to alaska.
