Hi.....

I have my interview appointment on feb 23 in Naples.......I'd like to know what kind of questions they ask and if they're bad people or real professional professional people....my husband and I have been married for almost 2 years....can this make things a little bit easier?

Has anyone had any experience in Naples before? :huh:

I think that there is a small percentage of mean, vindictive people in any field. However, I really do believe that most of the consulate officers are honest, reasonable, professional people doing a very tough job.

If you have been married for 2 years at the time of your status adjustment, you will get the 10 year permanent residence card rather than the conditional card.

Ciao Maria,

I could speak in Italian, since I'm from Napoli! But I guess I'll write in English.

Well, I did my K3 visa in Naples too about three years ago......I've been in the States for 3 years now, but anyway it's not really an interview, unless things have changed, you go there, do your medical examination, bring your two pictures and they give you the visa the very same day, at the time we just waited in the visa section waiiting room and they called us by name and gave us the passport with the visa stamped on it....that was it, no formal interview at all.

So it was pretty easy and I do think they were really nice and professional people. Let me know if you have any more questions.
