Retirement. I am retired. Now I need a job to get some rest, and will be more difficult to get any rest when my wife gets here. She thinks she is 25, and has the energy to prove it. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO my back. I thought when I retired I could spend time relaxing, working on my 38 Plymouth, travel, couch potatoe, watch TV, etc. Now, I do not even have a couch. The TV gets one channel, and very rarely gets turned on. I put out a nice little garden every year, and give almost every thing away. Life is great...........

Congrats on you and yours, Bob. :( Just a few months ago, I had the same feeling as you are having now. Memories! :)

Looks like you have your retirement all sorted out. My goal is to retire when I'm 45 years old. I'm 26 now. If I can amass 2 million dollars by age 45, I'll gladly retire. I might work part-time as a consultant. I don't want to work past my 50th birth day most certainly. The goal has been set and the wife has been briefed about it.

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

It is 6 digit figure :star:

Brought the money from India, after selling an apartment unit there.

My investment strategy is mid short term. There is no point of holding long term. Baby boomers are back to square now in their retirement funds.
