I called DOS today about any Interview Information. No date yet. Lady said 1 to 5 months possible.. O well.... I will call back in a couple of weeks just before my trip to China.........

Hi and good evening to everyone else on here!! Time is running out for me in little UK - I have so many jobs to do - can't wait to finish work next week so I can get on with packing - I don't know how I will fit everything in my suitcases!!

It is very easy, Lilu :star:

Step# 1: First wear everything on the body as much as possible (3 or 4 layers are ok!)

Step# 2: If you still feel, the luggage is excess, pay some extra luggage charges and carry

Step# 3: If you feel the above fee is big amount, send the excess by cargo air

Step# 4: Still feel big amount!? Send the excess by cargo ship!

If all the above fails, please trash the unwanted! :star:

Hi and good evening to everyone else on here!! Time is running out for me in little UK - I have so many jobs to do - can't wait to finish work next week so I can get on with packing - I don't know how I will fit everything in my suitcases!!

For along time now, I have been trying to explaing this to my wife about buying so much in China, that she can only bring so much on the flight here. On each of my trips, I bring back as much as possible. Most of my cloths that I take on my trips to China, I leave there, so I can bring back more of hers.

My wife hasn't received her welcome letter yet. Nor her SSN. It's been 15 days since POE. Should I start freaking out now?

I do not trash my cloths I take to China. I just leave them there so I do not have to carry them back and forth. We will be keeping the apartment there after she comes to the USA, so we will have a place to stay on our trips there together to visit family and friends... Her daughter still has a couple more years of college to complete, and may keep the apartment anyway.

Don't freak out yet we didn't actually receive the physical letter until the 3rd week

You had your WL on the 13th day after your POE.

Today is my wife's 16th day after POE. Still no WL. :(

Haven't checked today's mail yet. Maybe it's in the mailbox waiting for me. I'll update you later on tonight or tomorrow.

With my luck, it's still not here.

A few days ago I told my friend in NY to call DOS about his wife's China Interview Date. He called today, and got good news, 11 April Interview. Their paperwork left NVC 5 Nov, a long 4 month wait for sure. Another couple I know have an Interview 24 March in China. They applied February 2010. I fly to China 24 March until 18 April, so we should have a nice little group there at the same time. I have been hoping my wife would have an April Interview, but I guess not.......
