Hang in there guys i got my NOA2 on May 16 and hard copy on the 18th. I called everyday, it was until May 23 that i spoke with an operator and she stated that it was just received that day. it wasnt until later that week that it was assigned a case #. Same here. Been calling the AVR system every day and still not a case #.. We received our NOA2 on 27th, so 9 bussiness days gone.. Should get something soon then...

What all will they give you when they assinge the case #? INN? Will they create any bills yeat? or only after the DS-3032 been sent? Any ideas?

After getting our case# we should try to speak to the operator to ask for our INN number and at the same time give them both our email addresses in order to pay the bills. I am not sure if we have to pay first and then send the DS3032.. I guess we will see during the process..

Ill tell you what i did, After i knew that my case was received at NVC i called every day once in the morning and once in the evening. During the middle of the week i called and the AVR gave me my case number. I called back again and spoke with an operator and when she asked how could she help me i told her that i wanted to give her my email address aswell as my spouse's email so they can be in the system. Once she took them i asked if by any chance i could get the invoice id number she gave it to me but stated that i could not pay anyhthing yet until it was generated. Hey everyone,

Well, this is truly annoying, not to mention worrying. We received an Approved NOA2 on June 7th for myself, but nothing for the two children (ages 6 and 8). June 9th, I received an email notifying us that USCIS requires more information on the boys. Called up, and the representative said she couldn't tell me anything, we have to wait for the hardcopy being mailed. Assuming it comes in the same length of time as mine, we should get it Tuesday June 14th.

What worries me most is that with their applications, we sent my divorce certificate from the sperm donor, the custody papers showing that I have sole custody and that the SD has no rights to them unless I say it's ok, and their birth certificates showing that yes, they are Canadian. I am wondering what else they could want?

Anyone have any thoughts?

Cheers,

Maggie G

How do we find out if NVC has received our petition from the USCIS? I have been calling the AVR at least 5 times a day and I have spoken to an operator.. but nothing so far! :(

I believe that is the only way to find out if they received it or to get your Case number. I started calling one week exactly after i got my text/email of NOA2 for my Case number. NVC received my petition on 5/23/11 but it wasnt until two days after that they received it that they finally assigned a case number.

Thank you Alberto & Asni

Still haven't received the hard copy yet until now

I hope they're not gonna give us  hard time and only ask for simple documents, anyway, they give us RFE for both our I-130 and I-129F but none for my kid's I-130.
