thanks a lot for the link! It asks for a SSN or ITIN for the spouse if you are filing jointly...how are we supposed to provide that if we have not received our ITIN yet, and probably wont receive it until after tax season? Do we just put NRA there? This stuff is confusing.

Haven't quite figured that one out yet.

I guess either you file an extension, or you do married filing separately and then do an amended tax return after you get her SSN.

I am really hoping i don't have to do separately because then I am going to have to pay in.

Very nice!

I have been out of the loop for awhile. My cousin passed away from an aggressive tumor in his brain and i was there with him when he passed. It is good to see that some people have gotten case numbers. Tomorrow is a holiday, but hopefully we will hear lots on Tuesday.

All the best to my VJ family

Thanks.

Sorry to hear about your cousin :(

And I'm sure there will be lots of approvals and case numbers assigned this week :)

I just posted this on the CSC-TSC-NVC thread as well, but I thought I'd update you guys here as well. I received this email from Angela Barrows today:

"Ms. ,

Good afternoon. Just wanted to make sure that you know that your petition was approved on the 11th and forwarded to the NVC on the 16th. I apologize if you have already received an email.

Regards,"

Thought this might be helpful for anyone who was approved at CSC around the same time and is wondering when to expect their case numbers.

Weird that it took so long for CSC to ship it. Usually they're fast.

Yeah, I thought it was weird too. Because CSC is usually so fast, I had been calling since last Monday (wishful thinking) and fully expecting something by Thursday or Friday. At least now I know when it was sent out and don't have to worry that it was lost (yet).

And nice new member title!

Why do I need IIN?

You have to call NVC and speak to an operator and ask them what your IIN is. So, tomorrow morning!

07-20-2010 NOA1

02-11-2011 NOA2

03-09-2011 Sent both packages to NVC

03-28-2011 Case complete

03-31-2011 Expedite Request Sent

Why do I need IIN?

You need IIN to log onto the online payment portal. When you log on, they require the case # and the IIN. Then you can pay your AOS (88.00) and IV (404.00). When they are marked PAID, you can then mail them in to the NVC. Be sure to print out the Barcoded Cover Document.
