I find that now when I receive an email notification on either my phone or computer, my heart races and when I go to see who it is and it's not from USCIS I get :angry: ! I don't even want people emailing me anymore. LOL!

Last week's approvals just teased all of us. We were all thinking we would just see them flooding in daily. They are coming but not in the huge batches I hope for.

You are very right. I'm just losing my patience :( I need to just relax, seriously. My husband is not even half as worked up as I am. He's not even upset at all. I need to take note from him and just wait it out. If it passes March then I have something to worry about I guess.

Thanks for this reminder. This is exactly why this forum is needed for me!

We all had those moments, so we know how it feels. Even now, it's still the same. Guess up until we are all out of this blackhole, then and only then we can breathe a sigh of relief.

We will keep on praying for your approval. We are on this together until we ALL get out of this.

I am convinced that many RFEs simply mean they lost your evidence and need another copy.

That's messed up. Made you wait and ONLY NOW give you that news. Here's hoping they messed up in giving you that news, and then send you an email saying you are approved. That's possible, cuz they've been doing that to Wade- giving different infos, that you don't know anymore what to believe in.

I hope you do get your NOA2 soon.

Tell me about it. I am going bananas waiting to see what my RFE was about. Out of anger I sent an e-mail to Angela asking for more info on the RFE. Waiting a week to find out what you did wrong after waiting 6 months just makes your blood boil!

Added some comments to my blog and starting to send out some more "tweets".

Although I have our NOA2, I am fricking livid with the email and letter I received from USCIS today. The incompetence is giving me doubts that I will have my son and wife back here anytime soon, I need to get my son to a US doctor before he gets sick once again.

just read your blog...incompetence is a great word for this ordeal we are going through.

7/2/10- NOA1

2/9/11- NOA2 (transferred to Texas)

NVC

2/28/11- case number received

3/2/11- Paid AOS bill

3/5/11- Paid IV bill

3/12/11- expedite to Bogota consulate approved!!!

3/14/11- left NVC to Bogota for further processing

3/17/11- received by Bogota, emailed consulate and was told to send DS-230 and DS-2100 (packet 3)

3/18/11- packet 3 emailed to Bogota consulate, email confirmation on March 23

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!

how long does it normally take a person to get the hard copy of their approval?

My approval showed up on USCIS status page last Wednesday, Saturday I had the hard copy.
