Because she and Angela Barrows promised to do a follow-up for me. It appears that they are holding true to their word. My case was transferred on Thursday and approved on Monday.

You're quite fortunate :)

I received a relatively generic email from Angela Barrows on Monday afternoon... nothing since then.

Quick question- if your app had been transferred to CSC, why'd someone from TSC email you? Maybe I missed something...

Let me explain in more detail... Ok... here goes (lol).

Around a week ago, I started sending the same emails (just changing the "to" name) to about 5 people at USCIS. I would sent them emails EVERY day until I finally got a response from Angela (last Friday). Angela's email told me that I had been transfered back to CSC and that she would get in touch with CSC and let them know my particular situation. Monday I was approved. I don't know if Ms. Dean just now got around to my emails or if she is following up for Angela... but, she just sent me an email yesterday (Tuesday) stating that the application would be sent to NVC tonight. I know you are having the same issue as I was (Post Activity Decision).... if you want, I can send you the email (and email addresses) that I sent them to, and you can modify to fit your needs. Let me know, I'm here to help in any way I can.

What did it say?

Simply the following:

Good afternoon,

Your petition has been assigned to an officer at the CSC, so you should receive a notice within the next several days.

I'd really appreciate it! I think I'll wait till next Monday to send any emails though, giving them roughly 5 business days...

Thanks celldoc and nascarfan.

I had emailed Angela over the weekend and Tuesday morning when she didn't respond on Monday (she said she would look into it on Monday) and now I got the approval. I don't know if its a coincidence or if Angela made it happen.
