So the I130 filing fee went up to $420??. Yikes! Glad we applied when we did. Then again if I would have applied later on I would of never been transferred to the black hole and I would probably be in NVC right now. LOL.

It's really sad when you think of it....all of this just to be with someone you want to grow old with. smh

Utter nonsense!

Is this incompetence coming out of the TSC or CSC?

You're not alone... you're in the company of other good people whose lives have also been placed on hold- just like I tell my wife, any day now, we'll either be approved or get an RFE- either way, we'll be another day closer to being together :)

Keep the Faith :)

I don't even know if my daughter's petition is still in TSC, I hope so, cause mine is still there

Have not posted much recently, trying to give my brain housing group a break. Been so stressed that I have somewhat of a minor flare up of my Crohn's disease. It's a shi tty disease, literally.

Our son is doing better, we were on Skype last night and he is giving mom a run for her money. Daddy needs to square him away when he gets home. Let's hope they get home before he gets sick again!!

They are going to Bangkok tonight to get the police check, wife's birth cert translated and something else done I cannot recall now. I am bummed that we have to send all that to NVC. For her K-1, she just had to take it to her interview.

Tried calling NVC this morning to see if they received her package yet; nope. I will try again tonight.

If I do not hear from the reporter tomorrow, I will give her a call to find out what's up with the story.

Here you go! Another contact info. Good Luck. Just be nice to them. The more you demand the less information they will give you.

Cindy Dean

Asst Center Director

214-489-4015

Thanks. We have already mailed Cindy, but it may be worth a call. I am very worried we may over do the harassment These people have our lives in their hands, and if they get fed up, then they will slip us to the bottom of the pile. It's sad, but they really do have the ability to do that. We have now mailed a number of times with no response after getting a firm promise last week.

You know, by making promises, and not delivering, they are setting themselves up for a fall. Never make false promises.

Sounds like the person adjudicating your case just took a glance at the document and saw some French and issued an RFE. I think they are perhaps trying to go too fast with adjudicating our cases. I would email Angela and tell her that they have the international version and they should take a second look.

They're no limited on errrors so anything can happen.

Saylin, will I be able to do the EP? Hubby is in Miami and I'm in Toronto.

Since your in Canada, then yes! And remember the online forms (DS-261 and DS-260) are REQUIRED. EP, according to NVC's site, is still optional, but I'm reading that some people were told it's required now.

Honestly, I want everyone on this forum to get through this process as quickly as possible and be with your loved ones. But most of all right now, I want Val and Gary to get out of the black hole they are in (well that a lot of us are in, in some way or the other). I think it's ridiculous! You both are keeping your composure on this forum and being so encouraging to others. I'll be really praying for you guys this week I hope you hear good news soon.

When is enough just enough??? Geez!

I'm also so disturbed at these RFE's? Like all these months have passed and they are only now finding fault? I really would love to be a fly on the wall in both CSC and TSC's office.

If this wasn't for love a lot of us would of threw in the towel by now. It's emotionally, mentally, and even physically for some, just draining!

Yet, I still remain hopeful that good news will be received come this week's end for some of us, wish it could be all of us.
