Hey Guys.....thank you for the very kind posts. Gary had his medical today and is now on the bus back to his moms. He had to have another shot and x-ray and the nurses at Knightsbridge said from THEIR point of view...all LOOKS FINE!!! kicking.gif X-ray looked just fine according to the Tech. Gary called consulate and they said if he does NOT hear anything by Friday, that means the medical was fine and we should be on our way....VERY scared to get hopes up but...I AM GETTING EXCITED. Hey guys

OK.....I have a question that maybe no one really knows but I'll throw it out there.....Gary just called Knights bridge and they said that he PASSED his medical and they are forwarding it to consulate. Gary then called consulate and they told him once they receive the medical he will , " be taken out ofadministrative processing and contacted again". At his interview his officer said he realized the urgency of his case and would reunite him with his family as soon as possible. Am I grasping at straws here or do you think he is done? Why will they be contacting him again? What does it mean when they say they are going to take you out of administrative processing? From what I've read that is a good thing? UGGH..... I"m certain I have irritable bowel syndrome from all this.....wacko.gifyes.gif

Alright, first thing's first, take a nice, slow, deep breath. Good :)

Now. You were placed in AP (administrative processing) because of the medical. As soon as the consulate receives the new medical results, you'll be taken out of AP, like they said on the phone. This is very good news.

AP = bad.

Being taken out of AP = good.

As soon as they get the medical results, they'll probably finalise a few things, get the visa printed and put it into the passport. Then they'll ship it out, or whatever they do at the consulate in London. I don't know how long it usually takes to get your passport/visa back from the consulate, but you might have it as early as next week sometime :)

I'd say, call up the consulate again on Monday to see if they've received the medical and if so, if they've finished processing your case. Perhaps you can also ask if it's possible to pick up the passport and visa at the consulate due to the urgency of your case.
