:( I don't get why you were denied since your AVR changed to saying your case was sent to the consulate. Have you tried calling another operator to confirm your denial? Perhaps that operator mis-read it or something.

It's ok I guess we've been through worse than this. Gonna try to have my hubby calling them and give them a big shout

yeah, it doesn't make sense that the AVR states it's been transferred... but then you get a "denial". Have you tried contacting the Consulate/Embassy?

Unbelievable. I feel so sad for you, but, remember USCIS - not EVERYTHING that you are told is true. You may yet have been approved - and your docs could be on their way. Check again, stranger things have happened....

Called the US Embassy, so weird they do not give any kind of info re IV, I had to pay 14.50€ to have someone telling me they give no info.

I'm so disappointed with the US rules and regulations

I know - I called London at £1.23 per minute, only for them to tell me they hadn't received any docs. We have an RFE this morning on AV, and I am a nervous wreck. I am hoping it is false like I feel you also have wrong info.

Crossing fingers for both of us. I'll be on the phone to NVC at 7.30 EST on the dot!

CONGRATS Lara. I just got off the phone with NVC. I also recieved a message that NVC needed me to complete the DS-230... but.... she said they sent this message out to me BEFORE my expedite was approved... they shipped our petition to Brazil TODAY!!!! WOOHOOO... hopefully, we will have an interview date by the end of the week.

THANKS Erick, wow great..in my case they are waiting to get all the paper so they can send it to santo domingo. today i received a FALSE RFE telling me to send the AOS and the IV package so let see what happen next,, i hope you case run like flash and you finish soon with this hell.

Sent AOS packet today by Fedex from Hong Kong. Then realized I didn't write NVC # on upper right-hand corner of every page! I hope this doesn't cause a delay!
