Called Congressman's office this morning, they stated that they have made the necessary inquiries but no response yet.

Awesome Xelance!! Steps nicely laid down!! I would also suggest everyone of our CSC-TSC friends to do the same!! AT any point in time in the process you can go ahead & expedite! Incase you've sent your doc's to NVC for the AOS & DS-230. Instead of NVC waiting to fix up an interview they'll send it directly to your respective embassy to expedite & accomodate for an interview. But be genuine in your email to them!! Supervisor Sue Rocks!

here the letter: Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

Based upon the information received, the NVC is unable to determine the date of birth for the principal applicant. Please submit a copy of a valid passport so we may update your file.

According to U.S. law, the National Visa Center is only permitted to discuss details of a visa case with authorized representatives and when provided with all of the following information:

* NVC case number or USCIS receipt number

* Petitioner's name and date of birth

* Principal Applicant's name and date of birth

* Your full name

If you are corresponding regarding an I-140 employment petition you must provide the following information:

* NVC case number or USCIS receipt number

* Name of the petitioning company

* Principal Applicant's name and date of birth

* Your full name

Please resubmit your inquiry with the required information.

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the NVC (by email, telephone or mail), all submitted fees and documents will expire. In that case, your fees will need to be repaid and documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

Grats on getting the case number! It was for Vancouver? But Vancouver doesn't process IR-1/CR-1 visas....

Thanks - Yes, I thought it was weird that they gave us a VAC number too, but no complaints from me. At any rate, that's changed. When my husband called last week he got a VAC number. As of Monday, we now have a MTL number. It's all good though - I'm just thrilled to be weeks away from being with my honey! It can't come soon enough. And if we get to visit Montreal together in spring, even better, right? I'm thinking of heading to Vancouver for my medical once I get my interview date so that means a lovely visit to Vancouver in the spring too!

Every angle on our story seems positive now that we're (finally) out of TSC.
