I'm about 30 days post NOA2 now. I just sent out the IV and AOS package on Wednesday. It took that long to get a case number and have them generate the bills and accept payment. TSC did hold on to my approved application for 10 days or so.

I believe it's been taking anywhere between 1 & 2 weeks for the approved cases to make their way to the NVC,,, then maybe another couple of days for them to send out the notice containing the NVC#. I would imagine you could be seeing a case number at any time now!!

Right now, the only thing that's mandatory is 2009 tax returns/transcripts. Then you can also send in those for 2008 and 2007. To prove current income though since you haven't filed 2010 taxes, I'd suggest sending in an employment letter and/or pay stubs. All of us will most likely have an interview after April 18th, so we'll all have to bring 2010 tax returns to the interview.

On March 11, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

Grats! If the AOS changed to PAID, then the cover sheet should already be available for you to print out. Why are you waiting till March 21 to send it in?

no the coversheet is only available when you pay online, if you send money order you have to wait until they send it to you, hopefully monday they send it to me by email. im gonna call if not , im gonna have to wait until they send it by regular mail.

My NOA2 date was 1/25, I only found out through text and email on 1/26, and when I went onto the USCIS site back in January, the last touch was on 1/26, so the day after the approval. It might just mean they've printed the NOA2 and sending it to you. I suppose it could mean they're shipping it to NVC, but not sure.

Hi Norwood,

10 days after they approved my file I had a notification when they shipped it to NVC, it took 10 days . I'm waiting now for my daughter's notification.

I presume by Friday 18 we will have a case #
