Looks like TSC has finally gotten it's act together. Surely the spreadsheet will be filled with approvals by the end of Feb, or first week in March. BUT, don't celebrate just yet. Although getting the NOA2 is indeed a MAJOR milestone, it is not, by no means, the end of our journey. TomJoyce, Eguzi and I were the first ones to receive our NOA2's from TSC back in November, only to feel the joy turn to despair. So far, only 4 of the petitions have reached the NVC. Although I do feel more confident, since receiving the email from USCIS a couple of nights ago, that my case has indeed been shipped to the NVC, it is a WAIT AND SEE attitude that I have developed over the past 80 days since receiving my NOA2 stating that my petition had been sent to the NVC. I am not trying to put a damper on your joy at this great news, but the elation of getting the NOA2 will quickly fade if we don't see more NVC CASE NUMBERS!!

I totally hear you Dan Tes. The frustration is growing here again. We were told by Angela that we would be shipped to NVC on Thursday, but we are about the only ones that haven't been.

I won't rest until we get an NVC case number, and the truth is, as you say only 4 have got them so far. TSC's version of shipping is different from CSC as they can get a case number in 5 days. We're on our 17th day now, and I know people like yourself have waited much SO much longer.

My elation at NOA2 is fading as we speak, BUT, I have to remain optimistic. As soon as we get people getting case numbers, then I will believe!

congrats jennie and congrats thomasjones on your successful transfer to NVC...very fast as well! I was approved the same day, but no notification of it being sent to NVC yet dang. Oh well...maybe monday

Roll on Monday Xelance. We were promised Thursday at the latest, but nothing. KInda bummed my weekend, I was hoping for evidence we were out of the black hole.

Thanks Sarah! Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's still going to come. I'm still sick of being without him now, and who knows how long it will take to get an interview. I need him in order to stay sane.

Did you get the email from USCIS stating that it was sent to NVC?

Not yet Wade. We were promised it by Thursday, so far nothing and our emails since have fallen on deaf ears. It's very, very easy to become instantly cynical after what we have all been through.

It's either gone to NVC, and the email wasn't sent to us, or we have been forgotten about. I'll be sending a further email to Angela first thing Monday for clarification.

Don't think I'll rest until I see case numbers being allocated from our little group. Even with all this elation, still only 4 cases have arrived at NVC from Texas.

We shall see what next week brings....

Agreed, we have to keep pushing. I would hate to think what we are going through now is further appeasement. I have grown to trust no one, and believe nothing until I see it or hear it with my own eyes.

Or maybe I am just in an overly negative mood because I have only slept around 12 hours this entire last week.

I contacted Officer Angela with the same query(how long will it take for the approved petiton to reach NVC? & will NVC be notified with the TSC fiasco?). So here's her reply..

"Finalized petitions should leave TSC within 2 business day for the NVC. I am not sure how long it will take at the NVC and it wouldn’t be right for me to speak for them. I am glad that your petition was approved. " (smiley was a part of the email)
