OP, if you wish to return to the U.S. by use of your AP document, bear in mind that CBP can ask anything and refuse entry for any reason (including anything that your Consulate asked during your visa interview).

Until you have your green card, always, always carry a copy of your marriage certificate with you. If you have a copy of the cover-letter that went with your AOS filing, bring that along, too. You can never be overdocumented enough when you face dealing with CBP.

Don't need AP anymore :) I'm really happy about it! And so far, I have always carried my marriage certificate around, my bag/purse has been full of documents for the past 3 months. I am so glad that it will stop in a few days.

K-1 VISA JOURNEY 2010:

March 24th: I-129F filed

March 26th: NOA1 date

May 24th: NOA2 date

May 25th- Jun 3rd: Case @ NVC

Jun 7th: Embassy received

Jun 15th: Embassy sent pkt 3

Jun 17th: Pkt 3 received :)

Jun 22nd: Medical @ 7 a.m. (Kosevo)/ Jun 23rd: Passed

Jun 29th: Interview @ 13:30: Approved/ Jun 30th: Visa in hand

AOS JOURNEY 2010/2011:

October 25th: AOS, EAD and AP filed

November 1st: AOS, EAD and AP NOA1 date

November 18th: AOS and EAD biometrics appointment

January 6th: AOS case transferred to CSC

January 15th: AP document received (YAY! One step closer to GC!)

January 18th: EAD card received :)))))

February 17th: GC card production ordered

February 24th: GC arrived in mail :) What a relief..

Congrats on the speedy approval of AOS, for the most part I have not seen many having to use AP or EAD card for long, the AOS tends to be approved a month or so after AP and EAD anyway.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
