I posted this in my approval post and didn't have any comments so I thought I would put it on this post to see if any of you have any comments ...

I have noticed that the recent approvals seem to be getting a different email than I got ... I got the typical welcome letter being sent one but everyone else seems to get the approval and new card one as their first email ...

I know LITLEMO-NOSLEEP had some problems where she only got the welcome letter and as far as I know still hasn't received her GC ...

Should I be worried about this and did any of you get the welcome notice as their first notice ?? And I guess I should get another notice soon if and when they send out my GC ??

"Congratulations on being transfered to CSC ... I have added you to the Transfer List ..."

Reading all the experiences here, I am very happy to be in the Transfer List!!! Just need to solve this Biometris stuff... I hope to come back soon with good news ;)

Contact Congress right away to make sure everything stays smooth and you will be fine, good luck!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi

Thank you for the hint... sorry for my ignorance, what do you mean when you say Congress? would be the USCIS 1-800 ? or should I try a congressman?

Waiting,

Hi, first let me congratulate you on your approval thats great news,

Secondly,...i finally got my greencard in the mail today, great news, but i also got some seriously bad news, my childrens cases were denied, according to CSC it was because the affidavits of support did not meet the guidelines to support the children, after rechecking the guidelines they are well above the amount needed, so i have to try to find out how to file a motion to re-open the cases, my post on this forum explains more.

This was after recieving a RFE for a new affidavit of support which i sent a while back so i have no idea what i need to do except file a motion to re-open their cases and try to sort it

Anyways back to you approval, good luck in recieving your green card

Waiting,

To cut a long story short, they tried to say i had never been approved because i didn't go for my biometrics, even thought i had reciepts for bio's, and approval letter in hand every time i called, finally i got a very nice lady at the 1-800 number and she managed to get it sorted for me and get my card printed and mailed to me.

My journey has been so bad with mine and my children's being screwed up so much

I'll keep you's all up to date with any progress i make on my children's cases

Good luck with yours.

Thank you for the info litlemo-nosleep ...

I am getting a little worried as my first and only email was them saying a welcome letter was mailed out ... Most others seem to get the approval and a new card was ordered email ... And then they get another email regarding the welcome letter and another email stating the card has been sent and they usually get these emails within a few days of getting the first approval email ...

I have only received the first email and nothing since ... I guess I am being a little bit paranoid but when the end is so close you worry about anything that can go wrong ... And I always seem to think worse case scenerio :)

I hope you are able to get your children's cases sorted out ... We look forward to hearing from you ...

Take care,
