gsmclean, the chances are good that you will get at least a touch soon...khan, you and I have roughly the same timeline...I'm rooting for you that you wont make it past the 90-day mark...hang in there!

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..

Least now, well when the authorisation arrives, I can do things like get a damn SSN and a license and stuff. Let's see the SSA turn me down now..... :hehe:

Current Status:

On October 31, 2006, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to an office in CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER for processing. Our office in CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office. "

My wife already had her biometrics appointment , I hope for fast approval form CSC.

03/06/06= US Embassy told her she can come 3/7/2006 for interview

I shouldn't be surprised, the same thing has happened at every stage of this entire process. :(

EAD...the card comes with the approval letter :yes:

I actually got 3 emails today saying this:

Application Type: I765 , APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status:

This case has been approved. On November 1, 2006, an approval notice was mailed. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours.

but i got the card today!!! They're saying they just mailed it :hehe:

I hope you get your approval email very shortly ... Atleast we know that they are looking at the RFEs ... Remember that they asked for more things from you in your RFE than mine so maybe it will take them a little longer ...

I am hoping you get your approval soon ... Make sure you come let us know as soon as you know :)
