My EAD was approved today, just got email from CRIS :dance::dance:

Time for serious jobhunting!

Still no news on AOS tho but now i can be patient :yes:

11th Aug 2008 - Mailed I-751 to CSC.

12th Aug 2008 - Application received

14th Aug 2008 - Cheque cashed

18th Aug 2008 - Received NOA-dated the 12th

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..

Hey guys, our I-485 was transferred to CSC on 10/10/06 and today we received an e-mail that said:

"On October 26, 2006, a welcome notice was mailed for this case. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice. Please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283 during business hours."

Does this mean approved???

Thanks!! Yeah, it sure was fast... only five weeks! I remember seeing someone write in and say that they were approved 15 days after getting transferred to CSC. So ours was 16 days!
