Hey Peter,

Well I'm not quite "close" to the greencard stage yet, but just thought I would let you know that I finally got the e-mail receipt from the CSC, and my I-485 was touched by them today!!

now just about 3-4 more touches and I'll be there eh?

No changes here, no touches or anything so far today, but the day is young and I am still hopeful of 'something'.

Congratulations Stina, that's great news that you've been approved.

Well I still haven't received an email from California about whether they have received my case or not and it got transfered 2 weeks ago. I called the mis-information line who told me I have to wait 60 days before I can ask them to look into it. I'm starting to get a bit worried that my case got lost in the post!

Kaffykat have you received the email that they've received it finally?

Nope, still nothing re my transfer. :huh:

I was told 30 days when I rang, so was going to ring them next week, again. Guess they will tell me then I have to wait another 30 days. :crying:

Just wish that my ead would at least get some work done it, Christmas is fast approaching and I wanted to see if I could get some work before then to get some extra $$$, oh well back to checking the USCIS site. I think I am beginning to get OCD. :whistle:

KaffyKat I know just how you feel! My EAD hasn't been touched since 22 August so I won't be working any time soon! I was so relieved when my case got transfered to csc but i'm beginning to think it was more of a curse :P The woman I spoke to said call back 60 days after the transfer email was sent, so I still have another 46 days until I can find anything out. Keep me posted on your situation, at least it's a comfort to know that there are others who are still patiently waiting for our 'case received' email!

I also was wondering where my receipt e-mail had gone aswell, but fortunately I got it yesterday. Have both of you got the NOA of case transfer to CSC in the mail yet??

I was thinking that at least that would be something!?
