I-485 Transfer to CSC

Mine too was transfered to CSC aug 24, 2006 and when i check my status online they said they received it last aug 29, 2006 and until now no word from them yet. I hope that my greencard will be in the mailbox soon....

Hey Karen,

When you get transferred to CSC, it will state exactly that. I got the same message when I sent my RFE back and found out it the written decision just meant the welcome notice after your interview (I was so excited, talk about false hope, huh?), BUT I did up getting transferred two months later, so there's still hope!

Weird how some of the CSC approvals are stating a welcome notice was mailed, where others are saying their new card was ordered.

I got both USCIS website update and E-mail from “CRIS”. First was the Making and sending card then the second was the welcome letter.

On Friday I got the e-mails and USCIS’ website update that they were going to send me “a new GC”. Later on Friday night I checked and I got the e-mails and USCIS website update that the “Welcome notice” was mailed. I was also “touched” on Sunday.

hey Peter,

I got the welcome notice email on Friday ( two of them) and I just checked and I was touched yesterday too!! I wonder who got suckered into working on a Sunday??I'm not complaining or anything I haven't received my green card email yet but I'm hoping that I get it this week. I called the automated USCIS system just to make sure completely my husband was approved( I'm paranoid! ) and it said his status was changed to permanent resident so I think we are in the clear!!! Hopefully we will receive our welcome letters this week!

My case was transferred to CSC on Aug 29th. Got an email from CSC on Sept 6th that they recieved it. Ever since, my case hasn't been touched nor have recieved a transfer mail from CSC. Should I worry?

Hello Peter,

I got 2 emails from USCIS saying the welcome notice has been sent on Sept 15. We are waiting for another 2 emails on approval Hopefully today.
