It is official they transfer our case to CSC on August 28, 2006. Do you guys know how long it is taking to get approved for the AOS process in California?

Ours took one week after we got the receipt notice after our transfer. However, have yet to see the greencard.

Congrats on getting transferred! I know there's a lot of variation, but my husband's AOS was approved about two weeks after the transfer.

K1 Visa

April 1, 2005 ...... I-129F mailed to VSC

April 4, 2005 ...... I-129F received at VSC

April 5, 2005 ...... NOA1 issued by VSC

May 4, 2005 ....... NOA2 issued by VSC

May 12, 2005...... NVC sent petition to embassy

June 14, 2005..... Fiance received Packet 3 from embassy

Dec 20, 2005 ..... Interview -- visa issued!!!

Dec 27, 2005 ..... Fiance arrived in US

Dec 30, 2005 ..... We got married!!!

AOS / EAD

June 7, 2006 ...... Mailed AOS/EAD paperwork to Chicago Lockbox

June 8, 2006 ...... Realized that we failed to send passport photos for I-765;
awaiting RFE!

June 9, 2006 ...... AOS/EAD package delivered

June 15, 2006 .... NOA issued for AOS/EAD

July 1, 2006 ........ Biometrics appointment

July 3, 2006 ........ AOS & EAD touched

July 17, 2006 ...... AOS transferred to CSC

Interview - February 13th APPROVED! day 152

April 6 - wedding date day 204

Aug 22 - AOS interview date day 101-total days 342

Sept 29 - green card arrives, done until June 2008 day 140-total days 381

June 30 - I-751 mailed total days 1025

2009

March 9 - Removal of Conditions approved! total days 1277

Congrats Peter, mine took 23 days from transfer notice to welcome notice however my green card says I was approved july 14 which would mean only 9 days after the transfer. Good luck Lara

Mine is still in the works. Probably submitted around the same time as yours.

Check out my timeline. Hopefully, ours would be sent to CSC .

As you can see from my timeline mine is still being worked on, but then again i did get an RFE from CSC.

In answer to your original question: it takes 11.2347 days from CSC transfer to green card approval. You should have it by 3.30pm at the latest.

However, I have a question that maybe someone can answer: If one receives a RFE on their AOS, once that RFE is sent in and satisfied, might this AOS application then be transferred to CSC? Just wondering....

Yup its a possibilty, I got an RFE and then got transferred.

Don't mean to be a wet blanket but while quick approvals are the norm, mine took 8 months after being transferred to be approved. (But I think it just got misplaced for much of that time). Good luck
