Should the current and recent retrogressions have the intended impact to slow demand for numbers, it is anticipated that these cut-off could begin to move forward slowly in the coming months.

Continued heavy applicant demand for numbers in the Family F2A preference category has required the retrogression of the Worldwide, China-mainland born, Dominican Republic, India, and Philippines cut-off dates for the month of March. Should the current and recent retrogressions have the intended impact to slow demand for numbers, it is anticipated that these cut-off could begin to move forward slowly in the coming months.

i AM CRUSHED :crying::crying::crying: This looks like i wont see a 2010 bulletin until May 2011

Deer FashionDoll:

I hope you understand that this Visa Bulletin Retrogression thing only applies for those of us in Family Based Visa Categories, and in this particular case we are specifically discussing F2A category. I see in your profile you are a CR1 visa applicant…. so you see Darling… no need to be crushed for you!

Good luck in you journey!

For the rest of us… the only good thing is that Current PD´s are back to normal (4 years waiting) … not artificially inflated and people can plan ahead based on a more realistic scenario. I don´t expect to see any more retrogression and probably dates will begin moving forward at a more normal slower pace, just the way they used to prior to June 2010.

visabulletin and joe12 were called trolls NOT because of their comments about the cut-off dates, but multiple postings as well as creating multiple new threads about it.
