Hi Guys I have few questions for applying AOS:

1. what size of the picture? becauseit says passport style photos must be 2"x2". im confuse because passport style is different from 2"x2" am i right?

2. where can i find my alien registration number?

3. how did you know that you nedd to have civil registry?

1 American passport pics are that size, but other countries have different sizes. The size is not really crucial. You can also cut it to fit.

2. Your A# should be on your NOA2 above your name as well as your I-94, probably starts with A.

hi how are you?..im a filipina too from boston...just approved last february 2 with my AOS...

1. yes it should be passport size photos..submit 2 passport size for the I-485 (AOS)

2. you can find your Alien registration number in your passport...try to look at your visa and there's the word "ANNOTATION" below the name of your petitioner and address it starts with letter "A" with numbers.

3.im sorry with your 3rd question...i dont have any idea... :(

NO! Do NOT trust this A number. If your USC is a naturalised USC then that is THEIR A number.

See the A number on your NOA2 above the name of the beneficiary. Trust ONLY that number. Don't trust it anywhere else.

Hi. THanks for ll the information. My husband is USC by born. And I compared my alien number in NOA and the A number at the bottom of my husbands name in my visa and it's just the same. But you are right. And I know what your talking about. Thanks again. I mailed my aos package today :)
