Philippine Interview Website (IMPORTANT)

We just set up our interview online. What a mess. Took me about 2 hours to finally figure it all out. Here is a guideline to help.....

The MOST important part is that going to the http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ website is kind of misleading. Yes, you have to go to the website, BUT, as we are ALL told during the K-1Visa process, that we are non-immigrant visa applicants. BUT, if you try and schedule an interview online under that area, it will ask you for the CEAC number from the online DS-160. IT WILL NOT WORK! Ever!!!! Instead, go to the home page, and scroll down "IMMIGRANT VISAS" on the left. Under that there is "APPLYING FOR IMMIGRANT VISA APPOINTMENT" Click that and it will take you to a page that you can schedule, change or cancel an appointment. Under those options,it will ask you for the MNL number and allow you to schedule an appointment. BUT, do ti quick. It says 30 min to schedule an appointment, but once you get to the days (calender) and times, it will only be active for about 30 seconds before it times out.

Hope this helps. And maybe everyone knows this and I have been unable to find it here, but oh well. Better safe than sorry.

Wes

I know someone who, when scheduled their interview, got put into an interview for immigrant instead of non-immigrant and they ended up having to reschedule into the correct class. Are you sure this wont do the same?

yup, that CAN happen, thats why its best to call them because it can be a bit confusing.
