Just called NVC and we now have a case number

When I called the NVC, the nice lady at the other end told me our case number, after I answered some questions verifying my identity. She did not provide me with the date it was actually received by the NVC. I have tried three times since then to contact the NVC and ask them for the date. Barring that, any suggestions for my updating my timeline?

With that many tries, you may have to just guesstimate.

My guess is that NVC is sitting on cases for a few days, before actually being entered into the system. They are getting backlogged.
