I was just about to post the same thing. TSC was averaging like 400 a month. I don't know who's bright idea it was to think it'd "Speed up Processing" to transfer all those files to them, but I think they may have been fired.

i think the best bet is not to clog the CSC by transferring all these 36000 back and instead have TSC process them and just because CSC has resources does not mean that Oct/Nov/Dec applicants have to be pushed back at the expense of TSC transfers coming to CSC.

you would think this is just some random employees decision to transfer them to TSC from CSC and now again transferring back to CSC from TSC?

I am curious if the new applicants for Nov/Dec are also getting transferred to TSC from CSC and finally coming back to CSC again after wasting 5 months at TSC?

Oh man, but don't you realize they are being transferred back to CSC because TSC CANNOT physically process them? They do not have the manpower. TSC has had our petitions since November.

But I can see it's not getting through to you, so I too will concede this pointless argument. :bonk:

Of the 36,000 transferred to TSC from CSC in November 2010, it is my understanding that approximately 5,000 have been approved, so that would leave 31,000 left. If CSC is approving 20,000 a month, you could possibly be delayed 6 weeks.

The USCIS guidelines state 5 months for I-130's, that is JUST a guideline.

All of the above means nothing because we have no idea what is going to happen.

I was unfortunate to go through the major issues that USCIS had in 2007-2008 and now 2010-2011. When we filed our K-1 in 2007, we were just a few weeks short of one year of processing for something that normally took 6 months. This is why I was persistent at keeping on USCIS ####### this time, hammering them with email, phone calls, call them out on Twitter and Facebook, contacting local and national media.

Although we received our approval tonight, I have an interview at noon tomorrow with a reporter. I will hold USCIS accountable and speak for those who are still dealing with all this BS.

Chok Dee!! (Good Luck)

As a transfered filer I don't think anyone hates YOU. We hate USCIS. Your files will probably be on pause for a little bit (we were guaranteed an action by March 1). But CSC files over 20,000 petitions a month. Some of the transfered cases will/have been approved at TSC and some shipped back to CSC. I'm sure you wont feel the difference. They only had 36,000 to begin with. And CIS is doing mass approvals. (Probably not even reading what's on the petitons for transfered filers that is).

you should read the bitter rantings of Mrs. T.

Raj is just trying to start a flame war.

trying to do some simple statics based on the information we had at the end of January it would take TSC anywhere from 3 to 5 months to complete the processing of all of the remaining applications that were transferred. (provided they were not doing any overtime, as it appears they are actually doing right now)

I would estimate somewhere around 10,000 to 15,000 of the 27,000 remaining applications to be approved in tsc will be transferred to CSC.

So that means about what a 3 week delay for Sept/Oct/Dec filers.

Considering the 3 month delay that we have all suffered already, i think 3 weeks is only a minor set back and actually does not push any of you out of your 5 months anyway.

seriously , he/she is behaving like we oct/nov filers were hired to transfer their cases to TSC ,then delayd them on purpose and they are now back to CSC & we are the evil ones. people need to focus on themselves rather than trashing others for NO reason. After all this forum was created to help and support each other

not sure about any flame wars here so coming back to the subject i sincererly hope all the 36000 are approved tomorrow and put an end to this.

as far as you saying 3 week delay for Oct/Nov/Dec is just a guess. still hope TSC does not transfer those back to CSC, it could potentially slow down Oct/Nov/Dec applicants, & even NVC might be clogged with all these applications suddenly coming to them and clogging up everyone passing the ripple effect down to consulate level.

you are missing the point here. it is not the fault of Oct/Nov/Dec filers for you getting transferred to TSC. But definitely sending these from TSC to CSC and processing them at the expense of Oct/Nov/Dec filers is again i think not a good option since it might backlog everything, NVC, Consulate, CSC.
