My i-130 is put together, I'm not sure what order I should put everything in.... any suggestions?

I have the petition itself, our marriage certificate in urdu and english translation, copies of every page in my passport, my divorce certificate from my ex, our g-325 a's, our passport size pics, affidavits, a letter from myself describing how we met, photos,chat logs, and call records... anything im missing?

Our Journey

Met: 02/25/2010

Married: 08/12/2010

I-130 sent: 02/11/2011

NOA1: 02/14/2011

Request for expedite: 02/24/2011

NOA2-I-130 APPROVED!: 03/16/2011

Interview date: 7/7/2011

Visa in Hand!!!! 09/21/2011

This was the order we had:

-G-1145

-check

-cover letter

-I-130 form

-G-325A of petitioner, then petitioner's picture

-G-325A of beneficiary, then beneficiary's picture

-petitioner's birth certificate

-petitioner's passport

-our marriage certificate

-our evidence

Do you have your own cover letter written up? It'd be a good idea to add at the beginning, so the officer can clearly see what forms/documents you have and what order they're in.

Is it necessary to have a copy of my birth certificate if i have a copy of my passport in there? thanks for the tip about the cover letter! I will use it!

No, it's not necessary to have both. But on the guide we were using back in August last year, it said both, so we submitted both. Plus, if they're not happy with one to prove US citizenship, they can use the other laughing.gif
