Jackson Lee blasts 'demeaning' Pepsi Super Bowl ad

Let me see if I can do a recap here:

  • Some men like to objectify women
  • Every woman who has posted on here has objected vociferously to being objectified
  • If you're a woman who does not enjoy being objectified, you are not a real woman
  • Therefore not one of the women posting here is a real woman

Is that more or less correct? I just wanted to check before I head off to the lesbian bar.

No thanks, I would never demean my husband nor American men that way.

That's because we're talking about women. Men are naturally exempt and can never be too fat, ugly, bald etc.

Actually some very valuable and eye-opening lessons have been imparted here from some of the posters in this thread. They are these:

1) Women are meat.

2) The world is one big meat market.

3) You can buy and trade meat from the comfort of your home computer.

With that in mind - I have recently lost my taste for chicken. Perhaps someone can take it off my hands in exchange for some beef.

I think we look at this just totally in a different way. I would not think of feeling demeaned by what you might have to say. I know who I am and know that as an American male I tend to have certain less than ideal qualities, some of which I am probably unaware of. But knowing how others react to me individually or as a member of a stereotypical group is a tool to use to become more self-aware. I may not agree with someone elses opinion of me or American men in general but it is helpful to know how we are perceived!

Do you think people that happen to have a foreign spouse do so because they are unsatisfied with domestic "stock"? Seriously - that's what it sounds like you are saying in your last few posts.

But some seek foreign spouses because the domestic "stock" is unsatisfied with them.

Well he suggested Jenn pony up her conceptions on what makes her Moroccan husband teh bestest opposed to the American guy she didn't choose as a spouse. ? Seriously - it's gotta be a small minority who "buys into" this dog-breed type of spouse selection. She married a guy - not a freaking breed.

/sorry Jenn :P

 Some probably are. Why do you use such a demeaning term? I will have a foreign spouse because I could not find the right person in my very rural, isolated, and northern locale and could not find success in convincing the wonderful american women I met from elsewhere to consider moving here to further a relationship! Seriously!!
