So I checked my Case Status and I got this message as my case status on USCIS...

On February 9, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice.

So I am guessing my husband is approved? Does this mean that he doesn't need an EAD or AP or does he still need to wait for that? I mean by approval it means that he has green card and he doesn't need an EAD or AP because he can work with that green card and leave the country with the green card as well. Am i right?

If i am not then please clarify..

Thank you

I thought he doesn't need to wait for EAD and AP because the Green Card gives the resident to work and travel, because you have a GC...

You are correct. He won't get his EAD or AP because the GC overrides both of those. He might get denial notices for them but don't worry about that :)

He will get his GC in around 2 weeks (give or take)! congrats!
