Hi all,

I have a question about the G325A my husband will fill out for his I-130 (petitioning for me, his wife).

In the bold box on the bottom for the Applicant: should he fill this in with his name, my name, or leave it blank?

On the G-325A's, the applicant is the person filling in the form with their personal information.

So, if your husband is filling out the G-325A, he would sign his form. If you fill out a G-325A, then you would sign your own form.

Thanks for the prompt replies. I still need a little clarification, though.

I know we both sign our own names on our own forms, I was confused about the bold box below the signature box, though; where it has Applicant in large, bold letters.

It seems to me that we should put my information in this box, since I am the Applicant for whom my husband is filling out his biographic form. He is not, obviously, applying for LPR nor does he have an alien registration number (which is asked for), since he is an American citizen by birth.

Sometimes, I tend to read way too much into things (and make my head hurt as a result ). Is that the case here?

Yes, the applicant here is YOU, the Alien not your husband the USC. Rest easy, it happens sometime...
