Hi everybody!

Finally our journey is almost finished (until ROC) so here goes the review of our interview today:

Our original interview was 3 weeks ago, but it was reescheduled last minute because of a flood (water fountain broke).

We had the interview at 10am in Portland, ME. We got there about 15 min early. After waiting 1,5 hours (we were informed they were understaffed and double booked) we finally were taken into one of the "interview rooms". Our IO was a lady with curly hear, she wasn't wearing a nametag. She seemed a bit harsh and rude at the beginning... we tried to start conversation mentioning the flood, but looked at us and didn't reply. I started freaking out...

She made us raise our hands and swear to tell the truth.

Then she just went through the our file and then only thing that asks us was how/when we met and then requested copies of our originals. She looked at the same pics we originally sent, even thought we had brought new albums with us. We had some random conversation about her nephew going to study in Ohio, where my husband is originally from. After that she seemed nicer and talkative.

Then she said she'd be recommending our approval and kept my EAD and AP and offered to stamp my passport because tomorrow I have a 2nd job interview so I can prove I'm lawfully authorized to work :)

She mention how pretty our pics were and then said "no fraud, right???" and I said "oh no, we brought all these albums if you wanna see more!!!" and then she laugh and said "Ok, if you insist" :)

She said the Green Card should be here in 2-3 weeks!!! YAAAAY!!!

The whole interview was about 15 min. While we were there another 4 couples were interviewed and we overheard one of them needed more evidence.

The other IO (an older man with really light blonde hair) seemed nice as well.
