Had our Interveiw today in Montreal for a appointment of 9:30am.

Got to the interview at 9:00am. I am the petioner. We also brought my 1 year old son with us. My wife is a perment Resident of Canada but from Thailand she has been In Canada for 10 years. When we got in line to go through security We had no problems they just took 1 Bottle for the baby and my phone. They did reject many people for alot of bags even small ones so dont bring if you dont need.

Up to the 19th floor and check in. We were given a number and waited 30 mins and they made a annoucment if any body here to get a visa and has a child under 10 please go to window 7. So off to window 7 the Women there Was very nice to us and Said sorry I cant help you right now you need your finger prints first but when you finish i will get you back here as fast I can. So yout of Window 7 and are number is up so off to next window Finger prints taken and back to the chairs. My Son was playing in the play area they have for children. Waited 15 mins back to window 7 same girl she asked some questions about paperwork submitted about my wifes thai Mother and Dad. Just some spelling questions on the sheets she corrected them. Asked us where we met. Had some chit chat about my Son

She Said you approved

She Gave Us a Card to come back Tommarrow at 3:00 to pick up the Visa and Passport back. I did ask for it and she Said I know its hard to be away from your son so i will try and grant this for you. So Haveing my Son there Helped out alot

Over all It went very well and very inpressed with the people that work there

Sorry for any Mistakes spelling As it was not my best subject

If you have any questions just ask I will try to respond back

I would like to thank this forum for all its help it gave me many ansers up to today

You were allowed to bring your cellphone inside with you? I thought that was a prohibited item...

We have interview next month at Montreal. We are planning to keep a big paper envelope having all papers, wallet and cell phone.

1. Do their security people keep wallet and cell phone or we need to leave at hotel?

2. Is any small woman's handbag allowed?

Just wondering, what can we take with us except a big paper envelope.
